What Can a Civilian Do To Stop Islam's Relentless Encroachment?

NOT ONLY ARE Jihadis killing people around the world in impressive numbers, but they are also invading democracies, demanding and gaining concessions from non-Muslims, and slowly encroaching on democratic freedoms with the end-goal of establishing the repressive form of law known as Shari'a. Obviously, this must be stopped. The situation is urgent and your help is needed.

But you're not a soldier. You don't work for a counterterrorist organization. What can you do? There are a surprising number of practical, effective actions you can take to become a Citizen Warrior right where you are. Each of the actions below is linked to an article that explains more about it:

1. Join ACT! for America and participate.

2.
Support an open fuel standard. This can take away massive financing for Jihadis.

3. Help and support the Mapping Sharia Project.

4. Stop sending money to Jihadis when you buy gas.

5. Share DVDs with your friends.

6. Read the Qur'an.

7. Help and support Watch Obsession, the organization.

8. Talk to your friends about jihad. (It will help to study the art of influence.)

9. Share online articles, but skillfully.

10. "Advertise" the URL, haltterrorism.com.

11. Learn how to recognize suspicious activities and report them to authorities.

12. Contribute news items to Concessions to Islam.

13. Contribute stories of citizen warrior heroes to Citizen Warriors.

14. If there are people you would hesitate to talk about Islam with, encourage them to go see the mainstream movies, An American Carol, or Religulous. Send your liberal and non-religious friends to Religulous, and send your patriotic, Christian, or Jewish friends to An American Carol. Both movies broach the subject of jihad. Afterwards, the topic will be easier to discuss.

15. Participate in the "Stop the Jihad on Campus" annual events.

16. Support the development of energy sources other than oil.

17. Promote peace...one school at a time. You can help and support Greg Mortenson's work creating good schools that can successfully compete with madrassas that promote hatred of the West.

18.
Get Jihadi videos removed from YouTube.

19. Sign a petition right now that urges our politicians to take some action to prevent free countries from Islam's relentless encroachment.

20. If you have investments, you can
help cut off money to Jihadis.

21. Tell others about this list. Share with others the domain name, WhatYouCanDoAboutIslam.com.

22. Share online videos. This page has an updated list of recommended videos. If you know of one not on the list, please add it.

23. Try some glamourbombing.

24. Submit story ideas to reporters and news outlets.

25. Educate and motivate the public using FaceBook.

26. Help support Citizen Warrior.

Don't try to do all of these. You've got to be smart about this, and that includes keeping your motivation level high, getting enough sleep, and having a life. Feeling overwhelmed by things that must be done is not good for your motivation and it can impair your ability to persist.

So choose one or two of these things that most interest you, and get to work on it. You can always come back to this list later if you want to do more.

Also, I urge you to share this list with people you know who want to do something about "terrorism" but don't know what. Let's defeat the Jihadis and Islam's relentless encroachment with our effective actions.

When you find new effective actions that are not on this list, would you please take a moment and share it with us in the comments?

They are "demanding and gaining concessions", you say. Hell, yes! I blog in the UK (well, technically, I suppose I blog wherever people want to read, but you know what I mean), and here we're seeing more and more concessions to Muslims, including sharia courts. OK, they have no more standing in UK law than, say, an arbitration panel sitting under the Arbitration Act of 1996. However, the sorts of "solutions" such a court is going to hand out is not going to be fair to such people as women and gay Muslims, and people will simply be cowed into accepting these "judgments". Couple of posts here and here that will give you an idea (with one or two links). Enjoy!

Hi CW,,

Here is a excellent tool, for the Infidel Tool Belt,,

The testimony of a Christian who converted to Islam,, then discovered the AWFUL truth for himself.

This one essay,, needs to go VIRAL on the net,,

http://www.islam-watch.org/LeavingIslam/Catholic-Convert-Leaves-Islam.htm

We need to educate the non-brainwashed muslims about what is exactly in the quran, hadith and suras. (the ones that CAN read,, that is).

And we need to STOP, being polically correct in our news media,, here is a great article,, that is NOT politically correct,, by Canada Free Press

http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/6575

As Alan Caruba,, says in this article,,

RESIST!!!

Some of this is excellent e.g. how to influence others. We really do need to become 'evangelists' for the cause and skillful communicators.

But the many various points mentioned lack a clear end-goal by which folks can judge if these many points will actually help (or hinder) to achieve.

e.g. my belief is the West must divorce itself from it's Muslim populations. Probably in a similar vein to Israel building a wall to keep out Muslims, I think a similar separation will occur within Western countries.

So, if separation is the end goal, do all your points help or hinder? e.g. I think getting Jihadi videos banned is a hinderance to raising awareness.

Which cues the question: what ultimately will wake up the masses to the seriousness of Islam? If 9/11 didn't do it, what will?

That's not easy to answer, but I believe that some of your points that aim to suppress Islam are actually counterproductive. A suppressed/invisible Islam is actually working against the waking up of the West.

Ataturk in Turkey tried very hard to suppress Islam 80 years ago. But demographics favour the fundamentalist Muslims who are outbreeding the secular and they are slowly being reIslamised.

Anyway, it's something for all of us to think about. What is your end goal, and are your points consistent with it?

You have a great blog here and are doing good work. I think it would help your readers to (a) state your end goal, so that (b) they can judge each of your points against that goal. As you mentioned, we have limited energy and motivation, and we have to be sure it's properly directed. Cheers.

Ryan, you're making an excellent point. And in fact, I'd have to say one of my main goals with citizenwarrior.com is to help us clarify and articulate what needs to be done, and even how to talk about it. I'm exploring distinctions that need to be made. I feel I'm part of a much larger conversation (see my blogroll in the left sidebar), and we're all groping our way toward figuring out what should be done and how to talk about it.

The biggest hangup in all of this are apatheist Muslims. They call themselves Muslims and some of them feel offended if we criticize Islam, but they don't pray, they don't fast during Ramadan, they aren't interested in jihad, and they haven't even read the Qur'an!

I've got an article coming soon that looks into this and what we should do about it.

What I'm saying is I don't have a clear end goal yet. I feel we're in an exploratory stage. I understand what you're saying about suppressing the expression of jihadi videos. If they were on YouTube, we could show them to people and it would help alert them to the problem. On the other hand, perhaps because a particular video was not removed, a hundred innocent people would die. Is it worth sacrificing those hundred people in order to "wake people up?"

These are difficult decisions, and I would rather explore the issue well before making up my mind.

Several things are already clear to me, however: First, we ought to send as little money to Islamic supremacists are we can. Second, ACT! For America is a solid organization and should be supported, and so should the Mapping Sharia Project and WatchObession.com.

This list of what can be done is evolving and if I learn something that tells me an item is not a good idea, I will remove it from the list. And it is comments like yours that I'm looking for. I want to be challenged. I want criticism. I want us to figure this out. But in the meantime, if anything has been figured out "so far," I want us taking positive action and making progress toward the education of non-Muslims about Islam, the cutting off of money to Jihadis, and limiting the political power of Islamic supremacists.

It would be nice if someone just figured it all out and could present us with a finished blueprint with clear goals and clear methods, all complete and totally figured out, but I'm not that someone. At least not yet.

CW, I want to thank you for your continuously insightful articles on what to do against Islam. However, I am very pessimistic about our success. Always have been. But it doesn't stop me from working hard every day to enlighten people. I am doing this for my little blonde daughter, who must have the right to grow up without Islam.
Keep going, CW, we need people like you!

Thank you, Elizabeth. I understand why you would be pessimistic. It would be very easy to justify a pessimistic outlook about defeating the third jihad.

Pessimism and defeatism are the original topics of Citizen Warrior, and something I know a great deal about. Really they are my strongest area of expertise.

Pessimism can be converted to determination, and in this fight, all of us should do our best to convert it. Pessimism weakens us. Determination strengthens us. Read this article to find out how to make the conversion:

What To Do About Someone's Underlying Demoralization

Learn to remove pessimism from your mind, and then help others do the same.

I think it's good to post these "to do" things - but let's face it - it's simly NOT ENOUGH.

It is PAST DUE, way past due - we need to create our OWN ARMY. I'm waiting for you to tell me you will start a protectionist army since the leaders of all the countries of the world are not protecting us!!

There could be admiinistrative; legal; regular trained soldiers. I'm simply tired of our governments doing nothing and there is nothing illegal - if done right to start a protectionist force.

Let me and all of know when you're ready!

There a lot o other things you could do. You could use the new cars running on water, they are cheap to convert. This will reduce Americas dependence on fossil fuels.

You could also see some news , like on Christians Today, and see that Christians in Charsadda, Pakistan have been given till May 17th to convert to Islam. While you are thinking of informing people against this claustrophobic religion, you could also make some positive moves to make immigration easier for Christians living in Muslim countries.Believe it, your Embassies are so biased against Christians, not that I have ever wanted to come to America, but if it was easier for our younger generation to have a brighter future- I'd advocate it.

In the beginning of the 15th century in South East Asia, the island kingdoms stretching from Timor Leste to the South of Thailand were predominantly Hindu-Buddhists with strong predisposition towards animismistic and supernatural beliefs. At the turn of the 16th century, almost the whole region had been Islamicized.

From central Asia down to Afghanistan, the mass had been converted by mission in the beginning, by force in the later. Traces of pre-Islamic civilization were wiped out. These people will never know who they were if not because of archaeological efforts by the West.

When the Muslim worlds were bent to the mercy of the Mongols, the wave of Jihad was halted. The conquerors, merciless to enemies on the field, were tolerant to the religion. Ironically, after two generations, they became muslims and wage Jihads to the neighbours.

Through both soft and hard ways, Islamic influences had been imposed as policy and embedded into education and mass media. Under muslim governance, non-muslim in certain rurals were fed with missionary aid. Jihad by extreme groups were fought against locals in the South of Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia, not sparing defenseless women as well as children. Strategy: terrorize in exchange of autonomy from non-Islamic government.

Surely there are plenty of lessons to be learnt from the past. Jihad will not die. It will become dormant and resurfaces when strong. Unless tackled at its root, history will repeat itself again and again. This time unfortunately, it will be in the rich Europe and the Americas.
