Another Letter to the Editor Published in Terre Haute

Tuesday

I DON'T KNOW what's going on in Terre Haute, but they've got some warriors taking it to the public! Last month I told you about a counterjihadist named Ramachandra who got his letter to the editor published (read it here). Ramachandra just sent me another published letter by someone else: Dr. Anil K. Sarkar.

Sarkar lived in what is now Pakistan when India gained its freedom (he is now 82 years old). He knows unbridled Islam firsthand. And what does he recommend? "Every non-Muslim should read this Koran to know the truth," he writes. I couldn't agree more. Read his letter below, published here with his permission, and when you're done, Take the Pledge and Read the Koran, and get everyone you know to do it too. And then write your own letters to the editors of the local paper. Here is Dr. Sarkar's letter:

The contradictions of ‘peaceful’ Islam

Dr. Khwaja A. Hasan, an ex-professor at ISU, like all other Muslims, is defending Islam in his recent letter published in the paper of March 20. But I have a feeling that the people are waking up and are seeing what Islam is, and they cannot be fooled any more. We have to understand that the human race was never peaceful and for hunting rights and for settlements, the Kings, religious and ethnic groups always had wars.

But Islam, created in the Arabian Desert was quite different, as it claimed that there is no God but Allah and the whole world is Allah’s kingdom. So every non-believer in the world is a rebel, who needed to be converted and on refusal, be killed. So the history of “Peaceful Islam” is a history of murder and rape of the defeated women. Every page of the Holy Koran says how the Merciful Allah condemned the non-believers and how they will end up in hell. Every non-Muslim should read this Koran to know the truth.

The Muslims do not tolerate any non-Muslim among them and even today, no Christian can take his Bible to Saudi Arabia and no non-Muslim is allowed to practice his/her religion in any Muslim country.

During the Gulf War, U.S. soldiers who went to Saudi Arabia to save the Saudis had to cover their cross signs on their shirts, as Islam does not even tolerate a cross sign of Lord Jesus. But still, Dr. Hasan and the Muslims are shouting about the peaceful Islam of Merciful Allah.

The peaceful Muslims conquered India, killed millions of Hindus, destroyed their temples and molested their women, until the British took over India in 1757. On the eve of British departure from India, the Indian Muslims, 24 percent of the population, refused to live with the Hindus in a democratic free India, but wanted their Muslim Pakistan. And still this Dr. Hasan is shouting against the statement that democracy and Islam are incompatible.

And to get this Pakistan, they started to kill the Hindus in 1946, and I narrowly escaped this massacre of Calcutta.

After Pakistan was created in 1947, millions of Hindus were killed and we were driven away from our home in East Pakistan to India. And later, in 1971, when East Pakistan become Bangladesh, about a million of the Hindus were killed, who had no part in the freedom fight of East Pakistan, but were killed simply because they were Hindus.

Killing a Hindu or non-Muslim is a holy act blessed by Allah, and the killer will go to heaven to enjoy 72 virgins. But Dr. Hasan’s family stayed on in India and he had his education there to be a professor at ISU and nobody said one unkind word to him or his family. And naturally he has to shout about peaceful Islam.

A word against Islam or Muhammad will invite sure death from the “peaceful” Muslims.

— Anil K. Sarkar, M.D.

Terre Haute

When I asked Dr. Sarkar for permission to post his letter above, he wrote:

Surely you should publish my letter. I know the history and human psychology, so I am afraid that the non-Muslims will not be fully aware of the danger from Islam.

Unless we wake up and leave everything else behind and work together to contain this peaceful Islam, the world will become Allah's kingdom. War and violence will be conterproductive as they will only make the Muslims united and more determined to fight.

Our uneducated leaders must accept my suggestions and forget the cold war mentality and join with Russia and China and together we must stand against the Muslims, but they should not know that we are trying to contain them. Be friendly, have exchange of population in Chechnya, Kashmir, Sudan, Nigeria, the Balkans and the other areas to make the Muslims happy. Then boycott them, no VISA or contact. Why should we live with the Muslims? Just isolate them. DO NOT SELL any grain or anything useful to them and buy less oil. US grains are keeping the Muslims alive to fight against us. They have not enough food or jobs but only Allah and the Koran and leave them to feed on them.

Yes, by this method, we can bring the brainwashed and misguided segment of our human family to us as friends. And only then they will burn their Koran and leave Allah to where he belongs.

Think about it.

Anil K. Sarkar. MD

Why You Should Read the Quran and Discover the Disturbing Truth For Yourself

Monday

ONCE YOU'VE read the Quran, your knowledge of the core Islamic teachings will affect the way you perceive the world, allowing you to understand things which would otherwise be perplexing.

Islam is becoming a more prominent part of society in every country of the world, and this will only increase as time goes on. More Muslims are moving to Western democracies, Muslims are having far more babies than any other group in the world, and they're using underhanded tactics like love jihad to persuade non-Muslim women to marry Muslim men to increase their numbers.

Not only are innocent people dying in jihad-inspired terrorist attacks around the world, but Muslim action "for the sake of Allah" has a significant influence on world events, like what OPEC does to world oil prices, what the Saudis do with their oil billions, what Iran may do with nuclear weapons, and what mainstream Muslim organizations do to change laws within free nations.

What people do in the name of Islam is not a peripheral or minuscule issue any more. It is impacting world events in a major way, and more so all the time. All the Muslims working toward their political goals are following the commands, so they say, from the Quran. What does it say in that book? Can it be interpreted some other way? Are they taking it all out of context? Or should we take what they're saying at face value?

How will you know the answers to these questions? By listening to others? You never know what agenda someone is following, or why they say what they say. You don't need any more opinions about Islam. You don't need someone's biased opinion about the Quran. You don't need anyone scaring you or trying to comfort you or trying to deceive you. You need to know what it actually says. You need to know the content of what 1.5 billion people on the planet consider to be their primary holy book.

People have political agendas. They have personal agendas. They have reasons to bias or misrepresent their information about the Quran and about Islam. Some even go out of their way to give the impression they don't have an agenda when they really do.

The only people you can honestly trust and believe are people you personally know and trust. Do you know anyone that you trust who has read the Quran? If not, you can read it yourself. You can go to the source and find out what's really true and who is distorting the facts about Islam.

And after you've read the Quran, when you talk about Islam, you will be able to speak with some authority. You're no longer going on second-hand knowledge. You've gotten your information directly from the Quran.

You can then help educate your friends and family, who are in the same boat — they don't have anyone they can trust to tell them what's really true about Islam. Once you've read the Quran, they'll have you.

Reading the Quran is a harmless, peaceful, and yet productive way to do something about what's going on in the world. You can become a source of solid information in a sea of rumor and opinion. It is doing something positive about something negative.

When you decide to take this step and read the Quran, please see our recommendations for which Quran to read. You can save yourself a lot of time and frustration to read a version written in modern English, put in chronological order, and with the missing historical details filled in. Read more about that here.

Reading the Quran is an act of heroism. It is not pleasant or easy. But it will make a difference. Please consider it carefully, and if you are ready, take the pledge to read the Quran.

Why Did President Jefferson Read the Koran?

Wednesday

When Keith Ellison was sworn into office as a congressman, he wanted to swear on a Koran instead of a Bible, so they used Thomas Jefferson's Koran, which they borrowed for the occasion from the Library of Congress. The story behind Jefferson's Koran, and what he did with it, is an instructive look at the power of accurate knowledge.

It began before Jefferson was president. He was then the American ambassador to France, and he was disturbed by what was happening in the Mediterranean. For centuries, the "Barbary Coast Pirates" had been raiding ships passing through the Mediterranean. These were not "pirates" in the sense that we usually think of them. They weren't rogue agents acting independently. They worked for the governments of the North African countries. They would steal the ship and return to their countries, confiscating the booty aboard the ship, most of which added to the wealth of the Islamic state. They also took the ship's crew members captive and ransomed the ones they could. Most of that money also went to the Islamic government. The crew who could not be ransomed were sold into slavery.

In addition, these "pirates" randomly raided towns on the coasts of Europe and captured people, bringing them back to North Africa to ransom or sell into slavery. They even came so far as the shores of America to capture settlers, to bring them back to Africa to ransom or sell. They especially prized young women and children who could be used as concubines or made into eunuchs. Over a million Europeans and Americans were sold into slavery during the 200-year reign of the Muslim "Barbary Coast" rulers.

Many European countries wanted this to stop, of course, to which the leaders of the North African countries replied, "All you have to do is pay us a certain amount of money annually, and we will not attack ships from your country." Many European countries paid the tribute. It was cheaper than going to war. Of course, that was a short-term, self-defeating solution, since paying the tribute made the North African Muslim countries more powerful and more capable of terror, plunder, and mayhem.

The United States was paying this tribute also. This bothered Jefferson. It just so happened that while he was an ambassador in France, Jefferson met with John Adams (then the American ambassador to Britain) and together the two men met with the ambassador from Tripoli (one of the North African Muslim pirate countries). Jefferson and Adams sat down to talk with this man. They asked him why Tripoli attacked ships. Why attack the United States? They had no previous interactions. Why the hostility? Why did they choose America as an enemy?

The Tripoli Muslim ambassador was very straightforward. He said, basically, "That's what we do. We are commanded to do so by Allah." Jefferson later wrote that the Tripoli ambassador told him, "It was written in their Koran that all nations which had not acknowledged the Prophet were sinners, whom it was the right and duty of the faithful to plunder and enslave; and that every mussulman (Muslim) who was slain in this warfare was sure to go to Paradise."

Completely taken aback by this revelation, Jefferson decided to look into the matter further, and did the one thing everyone should do: He read the Koran. He learned what Islam was about.

And when he became president, he expanded and then mobilized the United States Navy to protect American ships from Muslim piracy and then sent Marines to the shores of Tripoli, who soundly defeated the Muslim warriors. This brought an end to the "Barbary Coast Pirates." This was the first foreign war fought by the U.S. and military aggressiveness of Islamic countries remained contained and weakened for over a century.

It's amazing what a little accurate information can do.

One Good Reason to Read the Quran

Tuesday

A FRIEND OF MINE wrote me with a question: "Do you know of Sami Zaatari from YouTube? I wish I had my Quran because I was watching a video and he was talking about how anti-Islamists use a verse from the Quran to prove that Muslims are told to kill non-believers. It was chapter 2 verse 191. He then quoted verse 190 which says Muslims should only kill in self-defense and if the non-believers stop then they should stop. I would like to know if these verses were actually written in sequence or is it a result of the Quran being out of order."

I love answering questions like this. My answer was: "No, I don't know who Sami Zaatari is. But he is correct about the verses in the Quran. They were written in sequence." Here are the verses:

2:190 Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you, but begin not hostilities. Lo! Allah loveth not aggressors.

2:191 And slay them wherever ye find them, and drive them out of the places whence they drove you out, for persecution is worse than slaughter. And fight not with them at the Inviolable Place of Worship until they first attack you there, but if they attack you (there) then slay them. Such is the reward of disbelievers.

I told my friend: The verses Sami Zaatari quoted are correct, but he is trying to pull one over on you. He is implying that the verse means Muslims are only allowed violence in self-defense. As I'm sure he is aware, the more fair-minded, egalitarian passages have been abrogated by the less fair and more violent passages. But even if this particular passage was not abrogated, his statement would still be misleading because simply being a member of a free society is enough of an offense to justify "defensive" hostilities to an orthodox Muslim. Read more about that here:

Supporting Israel is offense enough to justify defensive hostilities. Being an American and thus "supporting" the war in Iraq and Afghanistan is offense enough to justify killing us all.

According to Mohammad, merely trying to
inhibit Islam's spread is an "attack on Islam" which justifies violent defense.

The cartoons published in a Danish newspaper, for example, were considered an attack on Islam and justified the riots that led to the deaths of 180 people — killed because of cartoons! It doesn't take much. Like I heard someone say the other day, what would be a smaller political statement than a cartoon? You can't really make a smaller protest against this aggressive ideology.

So even if "only" defensive warfare was justified by the Quran, it would not be a comforting thought. It would still not make this a peaceful or tolerant religion by any non-Muslim standards.

As it is, there are
109 verses in the Quran that advocate violence against non-Muslims.

And beyond that, Mohammad's example alone would be enough to justify unending warfare against unbelievers until every last non-Muslim has been subjugated under Sharia law. Mohammad's example must be followed.

I think Sami Zaatari's answer is a great example of taqiyya. He didn't really lie, but he was definitely practicing deception, and in a very crafty way. Here's another good example of taqiyya.

Statements like this are made frequently by people who know a lot about Islam. It is profoundly confusing to people. I believe the confusion is often caused deliberately. The answer is to take the Pledge. Reading the Quran is really the straight road to being permanently inoculated against the unending disinformation non-Muslims are being fed by Islamic apologists.

It illustrates the Islamic Supremacist vision by showing the similarity between what happened in the movie, Pleasantville, and what devout fundamentalist Muslims are trying to create in Islamic states like Syria, Pakistan, or Saudi Arabia (and ultimately everywhere in the world).
