The Quran is Written in Code

Monday

In a recent conversation with Bill Warner, I understood something about the Quran I have never considered before: That the Quran might be coded.

I told him when I first tried to read the Quran, I found it almost impossible. And I'm a good reader. My reading comprehension has been tested and it is very high. Yet I found my standard Quran confusing and frustrating to read.

Bill said, "That's because it's in code."

The message is scrambled, just as military communications are sent in code in times of war. Or, as Bill put it, "the text was randomized."

Whether it was done intentionally or not, the message written in the Quran has been significantly garbled, and that discourages almost all non-Muslims and a significant percentage of Muslims from reading it.

Non-Muslims are almost entirely in the dark about the political duties incumbent on every Muslim revealed in the Quran, even though any normal bookstore in the Western world sells numerous copies translated into English. And most Muslims must rely on their imams to tell them what Islam is about, which explains much of the Muslim confusion about their own religion.

In what way is the message scrambled? First, the chapters are published out of order in every standard Quran. Rather than printing them using the chronological order in which they were revealed, the 114 chapters (suras) of the Quran are arranged using a baffling method: They're arranged in order from the longest chapter to the shortest. That's the traditional order.

In addition, each chapter seems randomly ordered. Most chapters are a collection of many different topics, and often one topic ends and an unrelated topic begins abruptly.

When you read a standard Quran straight through like a normal book, the message is disjointed and the story jumps around and seems contradictory. One very important consequence of this curious disorder is that it hides the clear progression from Mohammad's semi-tolerance of non-Muslims to his violent hatred toward them.

The second way the message has been made difficult to decipher is by the principle of abrogation, which means that some later chapters (suras) contain passages that override passages from earlier chapters. Because the chapters are not published in chronological order, this means that hardly anyone who reads the Quran knows which passages are abrogated and which are not.

Out of the 114 chapters, only 43 are not affected by abrogation. The majority of the chapters of the Quran cannot be taken at face value.

The third way the Quran has been put into code is by putting the key somewhere else. Much of the Quran cannot be understood without being familiar with the life of Mohammad (by reading the Sira and the Hadith). These are primarily about Mohammad — what he said and did.

In other words, the Quran — the source book, the single most important holy book in Islam — can't be understood without the key, and the key can only be found somewhere else, which is similar to one of the ways a message can be written in code: Put the key to understanding the message somewhere else besides including it in the message.

The doctrines of Islam divide the world into the realm of Islam and the realm of war (which is the realm of non-Muslims; that is, the realm of the not-yet-subjugated). In this permanent state of war, unsubjugated non-Muslims are "the enemy," so it would make sense to try to conceal the goals, plans, and methods of Islam from non-Muslims.

It also keeps ordinary Muslims — the soldiers of Allah — on a need-to-know basis, since they also find it difficult to understand the Quran. So the only ones who really know what's going on are the imams and the scholars. They're the ones calling the shots.

Their soldiers are out there defending Islam without knowing much about it. You'll see them all the time on web sites saying, "No, you have it all wrong." A Muslim commented this morning on a post saying, "I think you all have read the wrong Quran. Mohammad never said to beat your wife." The very next post quoted six different versions of the Quran's sura 4, verse 34, all of which said to beat your wife.

I have said it so many times, you're probably sick of hearing it: The most important thing non-Muslims can do to stop the advance of the third jihad is to get every non-Muslim we know to read the Quran. And ideally, to read one of the unscrambled versions: A Simple Quran or An Abridged Koran. Bill Warner not only put the chapters in order and wrote in modern English, he put the key back in, so the Quran is actually comprehensible on its own.

The reason I hammer on this is that once you know what the Quran says, you are immune to the propaganda and disinformation coming at you from orthodox Muslims and blind multiculturalists. You know better. And you can help your fellow non-Muslims know better too.

And with your new found clarity, it is fairly easy to know which politicians and which policy decisions will be helpful and which will be counterproductive.

If the Quran wasn't put in code deliberately, it has been a tremendously fortuitous accident which has served the goals of Islam very well throughout history. You and I can now help overturn this historical trend. Read the Quran and convince every non-Muslim you know to read it.

Termite Jihad

Saturday

ISLAM HAS a political goal: To bring everyone on earth under the rule of Sharia law. This is the prime directive. This is the religious duty of every Muslim. According to Islam, all forms of government and law are to be abolished except the law of Allah.

One of the ways of accomplishing this goal is by warfare. That's what Osama bin Laden did with 9/11. That's how Islam did it during the first and second jihads. But many in the Muslim world now see that approach as mistaken, especially when dealing with the United States and Western Europe. When someone attacks the West, we do not cower in fear, we become angry. Until Muslims have a much greater numerical and military superiority, outright attacks are now realistically seen as counterproductive.

So according to documents captured in FBI raids, the primary political organizations representing the largest Muslim organization in the world — the Muslim Brotherhood — have a different strategy in the West. Here's an excerpt from the captured memorandum:

"The process of settlement is a 'Civilization-Jihadist Process' with all the word means. The Ikhwan (Brotherhood members) must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and 'sabotaging' its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God's religion is made victorious over all other religions."

In other words, the strategy is to immigrate to the West and sabotage the countries from within until they are destroyed. This is the stealth jihad Robert Spencer and Frank Gaffney talk about. I call it "termite jihad." In other words, let's not blow the house down; let's eat away at the foundation until it crumbles.

But how can anyone "sabotage" a Western democracy from within? One way is by winning small concessions — to make a country's laws and customs give way to Islam. Here are some examples. When an American judge upholds Sharia even when it goes against American laws, when prisons are sued for not accomodating Muslim prisoners' demands, when newspapers are cowed into censoring themselves, when Western democracies ban movies, it is termite jihad, slowly eating away at the structure of our civilization.

We take it for granted that the structure of our society is strong. Everything still looks good from the outside. But inside, the structure is weakening.

Another very important way to sabotage a Western democracy from within is to make Westerners believe Islam is benign by influencing textbooks, politicians, government agencies, media outlets, and even Hollywood. All of this is being done while staying within the law. Disarming non-Muslims is an important key to the sabotage process.

Another way is to use our own laws, customs, and kindness against us to shut down any public criticism of, or education about, Islam by accusing people engaged in political and religious criticism of the tenets of Islam of racism, bigotry, hate speech, and "Islamophobia." Another way is to close down sources of information (and methods of non-Muslims uniting and organizing) — youtube videos, facebook pages, etc.

Now, of course not all people who call themselves Muslims are involved in this. But enough of them are participating to justify serious concern. Most of the links above go to articles about events that have already happened.

The process is well underway, while many of us are going about our business. The structure of the house is being eaten away, gradually and quietly.

What can you do about it? Go to WhatYouCanDoAboutIslam.com and get busy. We have a lot to do.

“Radical” is a Misleading Term

LOTS OF PEOPLE use the word "radical" to describe devout, orthodox Muslims. I've always been bothered by that term because it is misleading. If a Christian prayed for forgiveness, or gave to charity, would you call that “radical?” If a Buddhist meditated every day, would you call that “radical?”

No, you would call them "practicing Buddhists" or just Buddhists. They are practicing the basic ideas of their faith.

Let's stop using the word "radical." Non-Muslims have been using it to avoid offending “non-radical” Muslims, but it makes our educational efforts more difficult because it gives the illusion that "normal Islam" is not "radical."

The idea that the "terrorists" have "hijacked" Islam is widespread and ultimately mistaken. The mistaken notion causes confusion when people begin to learn about Islam. The use of the term "radical" supports this confusion. Let's stop using it, even when talking to people who know very little about basic principles of Islam. Eventually they need to learn what's really happening, and the more people use misleading or confusing terms, the more difficult it will be for them to learn.

At least, that's what I think. Words are important. Let's try to use words that make things clearer, not more murky.

It's Not Good Enough To Be Upset

Thursday

I just read a comment on a counterjihad blog that said, "I don't understand our (America's) seeming blindness to this threat to our very way of life!" I've read statements like this many times. It is passive and helpless. It is exasperated and frustrated.

I want to ask, "Who do you think will end this blindness? There is nobody here but us."

Another comment said, "I hope the masses rouse from their stupor before it's too late." Hope? Masses? This is far too weak and idealistic. What about rousing your neighbor from his stupor today? Edmund Burke wrote, "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." What about lending your Obsession DVD to your sister tomorrow?

Another comment railed about how "Americans are ignorant to the Islamic threat." And, he said, "until something very bad happens (like another 9/11) and it has to happen in some person's backyard...only then will those people start to open their eyes."

I say bull. If you can't reach people, change your approach.

I do not mean to come from "on high." I have those same frustrations. I sometimes feel demoralized and upset. But each of us needs to think in terms of "what I can do." It's too tempting to waste our time wanting the government to do something or the media to do something, or for some kind of state-sponsored counter-propaganda campaign to begin enlightening people about the goals and methods of orthodox Islam.

It's not going to happen. At least not until a lot more of us understand the goals and methods of orthodox Islam.

It's up to us. If people are hard to reach, we will just have to find a way. Each of us can find things that work, and we can share them with each other, and we can continue to get better at it. We had better get better at it and quit waiting for someone to save us.

In the movie, Live Free or Die Hard, the following conversation took place (I've edited it a little):

The younger guy — the computer hacker — is talking to the cop (Bruce Willis) after they have just barely escaped with their lives. They are on their way to do something else dangerous. They need to stop a terrorist who is disabling the electronic infrastructure of the United States, causing mass panic, confusion, car accidents, etc.

Willis is driving the car. He looks over at the hacker and says, "What's wrong?"

The hacker kid says, "I can't do this. I'm not like you."

"Like what?" asks Willis.

"Like heroic and brave and everything."

Willis is dented up from the last encounter. His head is bleeding. He looks exhausted. He says, "I'm nobody's hero, kid."

He thinks about it for a second and says, "You know what you get for being a hero? You get shot at, you get a pat on the back, blah blah blah."

He pauses for a few seconds and then says in a bitter and depressed tone, "You get divorced. Your kids don't talk to you. Trust me, kid, you don't want to be that guy."

The hacker looks totally confused. "Then why are you doing this?!"

Willis's answer is our answer too. He says, "Because there's nobody else to do it right now, that's why. Believe me, if there was somebody else to do it, I'd let them do it, but there's not. So we're doing it."

With admiration in his voice and understanding in his eyes, the hacker says, "That's what makes you that guy."

Let's stop waiting and hoping for someone to save us. It's up to us. What needs to happen first is for the people around each of us to learn more about Islam. We should — we MUST — improve our ability to educate the people in our lives. We need to think about it like this: There's nobody else to do it, so we're doing it.

Article Spotlight

One of the most unusual articles on CitizenWarrior.com is Pleasantville and Islamic Supremacism.

It illustrates the Islamic Supremacist vision by showing the similarity between what happened in the movie, Pleasantville, and what devout fundamentalist Muslims are trying to create in Islamic states like Syria, Pakistan, or Saudi Arabia (and ultimately everywhere in the world).
