Wonderful ideas. In theory. Here's the spot where it breaks down.

You write as if you are considering the communication between rational people. There are reports from psychologists and many other learned people that posit that "liberalism" is actually a mental disorder.

As such, they cannot bring themselves to contemplate a differing mode of thought. I have never yet met a rational liberal. Nearly all of them are angry, bitter, self-absorbed, self-hating, and projective of their anger due to their percieved wrongdoings as they are Americans.

The only truly satisfying way of responding to their attacks is "You're insane. Leave or be pummeled for stupidity." Thank you very much for the attempt at the high road, though.
