Keep Morale High

Monday, June 18

IF YOU FEEL IMPOTENT, if you think there is nothing you can do about something really important like defeating the third jihad, you've got a morale problem. In all wars, including the war against Islamic supremacism, morale is a key factor. Much of the training of new soldiers is designed to boost morale because a psychologically strong soldier is worth far more than someone who is merely technically proficient.

In a long-term war against a persistent enemy, morale is even more important. You can consider this Rule Number One: KEEP MORALE HIGH. Write that down and post it where you can see it. Do whatever is necessary to keep your morale high, and when your own morale is high, look to your friends and family and help raise their morale too. Let's look at what builds morale and what weakens morale:

WHAT WILL RAISE MORALE:

1. A clear goal and a strong sense of purpose.

2. Making progress toward your goal.

3. Physical health. Getting enough sleep, eating healthy food, and exercising.

4. Good planning.

5. Preparation and training. Here's the kind of training you need.

6. An unthwartable explanatory style.

WHAT WILL KILL MORALE:

1. Anxiety.

2. Confusion.

2. The conclusion there is nothing you can do.

3. An unclear purpose or no purpose at all.

4. Vague, half-baked plans.

5. Lack of progress toward your purpose.

6. Feeling isolated and alone.

7. Poor physical condition or lack of sleep.

KEEP MORALE HIGH. Work on improving it. Use the citizen warrior's four most important tools. And begin helping those around you. Let the Jihadis find themselves unable to intimidate us. Let them find people of free nations not only immune to their tactics, but responding to all their efforts with increased determination. Let the Jihadis run face-first into an impregnable wall of morale that defeats them utterly. Let us create a free world where Islamic supremacism has no place to safely exist.

"This is not a war for territory or resources. The battlefield is your mind — a battle between freedom and fear. This is a war in which the method of attack is to maximize your feelings of helplessness, fear and uncertainty to paralyze our sense of purpose as a people and a nation. This is a war that will be won or lost on morale alone."

Article Spotlight

One of the most unusual articles on CitizenWarrior.com is Pleasantville and Islamic Supremacism. It illustrates the Islamic Supremacist vision by showing the similarity between what happened in the movie, Pleasantville, and what devout fundamentalist Muslims are trying to create in Islamic states like Syria, Pakistan, or Saudi Arabia.
